Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Unzip and move to Applications

    Open the downloaded zip, then drag Didon.app into your Applications folder.

    If macOS blocks the app on first launch, open Terminal and run: 

    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Didon.app

    Or right-click Didon.app in Applications and choose Open.

    Install Ollama and pull the vision model

    Download and install Ollama from ollama.com. Open Terminal and pull the recommended model: 

    ollama pull qwen3-vl:2b-instruct

    Optional for 16 GB+ RAM Macs: qwen3-vl:4b-instruct — see the installation guide.

  3. 3

    Open Didon and grant Screen Recording

    Launch Didon from Applications — look for the icon in your menu bar. Sign in when prompted, then allow Screen Recording when Didon opens System Settings for you.
